Goodland Farms, the primary farm held by UW Brazos Valley Farm, is a sustainable farm with significant land and water resources in Robertson County

Goodland Farms  makes up approximately 9,000 acres at the north end of the Brazos Valley, including what had previously been referred to as Goodland Farm, Harlan Farm, and Barton Farm.    The farm is a significant regional producer of crops, and has a long history of growing staple crops, including soybeans, milo, rice, and cotton.

Goodland Farms is situated above one of the largest and most prolific aquifers in Texas, with a set of operating wells that have produced from the Simsboro aquifer formation for decades.  Goodland Farms uses alluvial water plus a portion of its permitted Simboro water for its farming operations. Additionally, alongside seven of its neighboring landowners, UW Brazos Valley Farm and Goodland Farms have committed to serving neighboring Texas communities in need by supplying their owned, permitted water for a regional supply project.
